Abuissa Sports

In January 2021, I founded Abuissa Sports — a youth-focused organization dedicated to athlete development, education, and character building, and home to one of Qatar's first Qatari-owned and operated basketball academies.

I lead its overall strategy and operations, from budgeting and recruitment to partnerships and program execution. We've brought NBA-standard coaching to young athletes through elite training camps, and built strong relationships with national institutions, international partners, and sports governing bodies along the way.

Alongside running Abuissa Sports, I support senior leadership at Abuissa Holding — a diversified family business spanning retail, construction, laundry services, and general operations. My role covers financial reporting, budgeting, performance management, and cross-functional strategic initiatives.

I've contributed to tender evaluations, commercial negotiations, and the planning of national exhibitions and brand activations — including Qatar Outlet — giving me broad exposure to how complex, multi-unit businesses operate at a senior level.

Investments & Advisory

Beyond my own ventures, I'm interested in supporting early-stage founders and businesses — particularly those working at the intersection of sports, technology, education, and community development in Qatar and the Gulf region.
